These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to tryjey.com, the Jey application and related services (together, “Jey” or the “Service”). “We”, “us” and “our” mean Jey. “You” means the person or organization using the Service.
By creating an account or using Jey, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Jey. If you use Jey on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.
We may add, change or remove features of the Service, and set reasonable usage limits. Plan limits are listed on our pricing page.
1. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- One free trial per person or organization.
- Tell us right away at uddipta@tryjey.com if you think your account has been used without your permission.
2. Free trial, plans and credits
Free trial. New accounts get a free trial with a fixed number of credits and no card required. The trial does not turn into a paid plan on its own. We may change what the trial includes, or end it for accounts that abuse it.
Paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, to the payment method on your account, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your plan active until the current period ends. Prices are shown before tax; you are responsible for any taxes that apply.
Credits. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of credits. Credits reset at the start of each billing period, do not carry over, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. When you run out, you can upgrade to a bigger plan.
Price changes. We may change our prices. We will tell you at least 14 days before a change applies to your plan, and the new price takes effect at your next renewal.
Refunds. Fees are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If something goes seriously wrong on our side, write to us and we will look at it case by case.
3. Content from other platforms
The posts and comments you see in Jey come from other people and other platforms. They belong to their authors and to the platforms they were posted on. We do not own them, we do not vouch for them, and we cannot promise that Jey will find every one, or find it within a certain time. Platforms can change or limit access at any time, and what Jey covers may change with them.
Use what you see lawfully and in line with the rules of the platform it came from. Do not copy, publish, resell or redistribute it outside your normal use of Jey, do not use it to build a dataset or to train machine-learning models, and do not use Jey to surveil, profile or harass any individual. If a rights holder or a platform asks us to, we may remove content from Jey.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law or anyone’s rights while using Jey;
- share your account or let others use it under your login;
- access the Service with bots, scrapers or other automated means;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or try to extract the source code of Jey;
- interfere with the Service, probe its security or put an unreasonable load on it;
- use Jey to send spam or unwanted messages;
- use Jey to build a competing product.
5. Your content
Everything you put into Jey, such as project names, descriptions, keywords and notes, stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it so we can provide the Service to you. Make sure you have the right to use what you put in.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
6. Our intellectual property
Jey, including its name, logo, software, design and the content we create, belongs to us and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. While you follow these Terms, you may use the Service for your own business purposes. That is a licence, not a transfer of ownership, and it ends if you break these Terms or your account closes.
7. Third-party services and links
Jey relies on third-party services. We are not responsible for their services or their terms, or for changes or outages on their side. Links in Jey to other sites are there for convenience, and we are not responsible for those sites.
8. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, with notice where we reasonably can, if you break these Terms, if your use creates a risk for us or for others, if you do not pay, or if we stop offering the Service. When your account closes, your right to use Jey ends and we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
Jey is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims under these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You will cover us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your use of Jey, your content, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. For important changes we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email or in Jey before they take effect. If you keep using Jey after that, you accept the new Terms.
11. General
If part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms right away, we can still do so later. These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
